YSR Rythu Bharosa - PM Kisan Scheme
The YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme provides financial stability to cultivators before the onset of the crop season. It is uniquely inclusive: in addition to landholding farmers, it extends full financial assistance to landless tenant farmers (CCRC holders) and Forest Land Cultivators (RoFR pattas) belonging to SC, ST, BC, and Minority communities.
Financial Components
- Landowner Farmer Families: ₹13,500 per year (comprising ₹6,000 from Central PM-KISAN and ₹7,500 from the State Government).
- Tenant & RoFR Farmer Families: ₹13,500 per year entirely funded by the State Government through DBT.
- Disbursement Schedule:
- May (Kharif pre-sowing): ₹7,500.
- October (Rabi sowing & harvesting): ₹4,000.
- January (Sankranti harvest): ₹2,000.
Additional Support Package
- Free Agricultural Power: 9 hours of free daytime electricity for agricultural pump sets.
- Zero-Interest Crop Loans (Vaddi Leni Runalu): Full interest subsidy for crop loans up to ₹1,00,000 repaid on schedule.
- Dr. YSR Free Crop Insurance: 100% premium borne by the state on notified crops.
