Kisan Rin Portal (KRP) & Ghar Ghar KCC Campaign

Integrated digital single-window platform launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Finance to saturate Kisan Credit Card (KCC) coverage for all 9+ crore PM-KISAN beneficiaries with digital approvals and DBT interest subvention.

Kisan Rin Portal (KRP) & Ghar Ghar KCC Campaign

The Kisan Rin Portal (KRP), developed jointly by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Finance, and NABARD, is a revolutionary digital platform that revolutionizes agricultural credit access across India. Combined with the Ghar-Ghar KCC Campaign, it aims to achieve 100% saturation of all eligible PM-KISAN beneficiary farmers with Kisan Credit Cards.

Key Capabilities of Kisan Rin Portal

  • Seamless PM-KISAN Convergence: Pre-verified land records and farmer demographic data are seamlessly pulled from the PM-KISAN database to reduce paper verification.
  • Transparent Interest Subvention Claims: Automates the processing of the 3% Prompt Repayment Incentive (PRI) and 1.5% interest subvention for banks, ensuring transparent, fraud-free delivery to farmers.
  • End-to-End Digital Underwriting: Farmers can track application status, sanction letters, and loan renewal dates online.
  • Doorstep Enrollment: Village-level camps conducted by Bank Mitras, PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Societies), and CSC operators.

Terms of KCC Under KRP

  • Credit Limit: Up to ₹3 Lakh at an effective 4% interest rate (7% standard rate minus 3% timely repayment subvention).
  • Collateral-Free Limit: Up to ₹1.60 Lakh without any mortgaging of agricultural land.
  • Flexibility: Usable for seeds, fertilizers, tractor diesel, crop labor, and household emergency needs.
  • Validity: 5 years with an automatic 10% annual increase in credit limit for progressive cultivation.
